A blend of Yoga, Ka’alele au` and Papahele Hawaiian Floorwork.
Ka’alele au’ the flight of the navigator
This extraordinary series of hula/ martial art like exercises has the potential to transform your consciousness as you become aware of your natural gifts.
How is this possible through exercises?
Every movement you make is an expression of your consciousness. Every cell in your body is a result of the way you move. When you become fully present in your body you are using all your capacity, skills and gifts. You don’t have to think or analyse, you just do it. These exercises allow you to become aware of the way you function and then to transform your energy and gifts into amazingly beneficial power. Just for You.
Workshop Description
Workshop commences with stretches designed to access unused energies. Individual instructions are given to every person as each have their own journey of self discovery. Stretches include that for entire body. They include neck, shoulders, spine, arms, hands, chest, hips, legs, knees, ankles, feet.
This prepares the body for the exercises. Firstly I teach the steps with only the feet. When suitable for each person the arms are added. Individual suggestions for adjustments are made to increase range of motion, change in posture and presence in all parts of the body not just the head. Emotions may surface giving people the chance to embrace and use them.
Then there is discussion about what each person discovered about their self and how they can use that gift.
Participant Benefits:
Detail here the skills and/or knowledge that participants will gain from your Workshop, how this differs from that already existing within the field and how participants can apply the skills and/or knowledge within their communities.
The participant can now use this exercise whenever they need as tool for moving through difficult times or as a way of moving forward in life. It takes you away from non contributing thought patterns bypassing logic and transforming you through your subconscious. You are here. You have yourself and now. Isn’t it wonderful!
It would be beneficial for participants to wear loose or stretchy clothes suitable for stretching in and also to bring a bath towel for the floor.
Lunch is included.
Food is important as a way for people to be open to receiving themselves and actively nurturing their spirit. It is also grounding. This would consist of soup, cheeses, crackers, fruit and dips. |
